Customer Reviews

Great product! Add rewritable labels and they are PERFECT!I use these for organizing EVERYTHING for project notes, instructions, finances/bills, just about anything that I don't want to permanently put away into a filing cabinet just yet.I also combine these with the Jokari LabelOnce rewritable labels...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002MPH4OG/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1Once you start using these, you'll never know how you stayed organized without them. 5NOT HEAVYWEIGHT! Don't try. This is NOT "heavyweight". This is very thin and soft than any regular market available plastic folder. It can not even hold paper. Don't know why supplier prints "heavyweight" on box? 1reasonable price and 2-sides sealed, what i needPros:- multi-colors (came with 5 different colors; red, blue, yellow, green & gray)- 2-sides seals- with thumb cuts- semi-matte/ transparent, not the old fashion clear type- feels sturdy (not easily tearing)- 8.5" x 11"- reasonable price with free shipping (less than six dollars for 25 pieces)Cons:- not very transparent (maybe I'm used to the old fashioned style)- quite soft, unlike the old fashion plastic type 4Great project folders - perfect for medical sorting and project organization.I used to use these in the office all the time. After a recent round of a lot of medical/doctor/hospital visits for my husband, I found myself wuickly being overwhelmed with the sheer quantity of the bills from the hospital, doctors, radiologists, labs, etc etc. They ALL bill separately for your part of the cost, and with Obamacare guidelines, there is no longer just one account for your name - every procedure has a new account number. I bought these to try to keep the bills, estimation of benefits, doctor bills, etc under control. Turned out that I needed HALF of this box just to have one folder per account set up by these various entities! Good grief. 13 different accounts for the treatment of the same medical problem! Yikes...These have been invaluable to keeping up with the accounts without losing my sanity. I am also going to recommend them for my daughter to keep her projects separate for her college courses. Don't know why I didn't think about them sooner... I tend to associate these with office use only, but they are great for home and school as well. Love them! 5Protect and organize documents in briefcase or backpack. It's a little thicker than 3 hold standard sheet protectors and with 25 in the box that I purchased, I can place my work in different ones for different projects/tasks. I keep about 6 daily in my backpack and I will sometimes use a colored piece of paper to help me identify the folder, so for example a red piece of paper can mean urgent documents to review, while a picture of my family let's me know it's personal items. 5Bargain, but not what I was expectingThe C-Line Recycled Project Folders are constructed of a single clear, translucent sheet of plastic folded in half and heat sealed along one edge. I would say that their durability is one step up from those sheet protectors people put in binders.I bought these to replace the old ones that I had been using to organize homework. I don't know what brand the old ones were, but they were heavier duty and constructed of one clear and one colored piece of plastic which were fused together along two edges. The C-Line Recycled Project Folders are exactly as described, but NOT the ones shown in the photograph. Although, they have the same product number, they are not colored. The box shown in the photograph also does not show recycled project folders. I wonder if the manufacturer stopped making colored project folders and switched to recycled ones?Overall, these project folders meet the criteria of what I was looking for. If my homework gets wrinkled it's not the end of the world. 3OK, but not as stiff as I hoped - won't stand upright empty propped in a desktop project sorterIf you want a slightly textured surface, very flexible plastic project folder, the, C-Line #62127 Heavyweight Polypropylene Project Folders with Thumb Cut Front are fine & very well priced/good value. But I wouldn't call these "Heavyweight." These are LIGHTweight (literally, comparing two boxes with 25 plastic project file jackets, the C-Line #62127 box weighs less than the box of 25 Universal Project Folders) These folders are too flexible - won't stand upright on their own when empty in my desktop divided project file holder. This product is a tiny bit thinner/more flexible/lighter weight than the C-Line Antimicrobial Protected Project Folders #621277 - which is otherwise a very similar product. If you want a stiffer folder, a smoother texture w/ matte finish, get the Universal Project Folder Clear UNV81525 (UPC bar code 0-87547815250) which are also polyproplyene (8.9 in x 11.4 in) - the UNV81525 folders stay upright in a desktop file sorter, even when empty. 25 to a pack. They have a thumb notch on the left side and also another very small triangular notch on the right - I wish I knew the purpose of that right side little thumb notch. 3Thin But ServiceableThese are certainly not heavy-duty, but they suffice for protecting papers that will be handled many times and slip into files without adding as much depth to the file cabinet as heavier folders would. Often papers are handled and then filed, but important enough that they may need to be retrieved quickly and the color helps me find those particular files faster. 4Should be called sheet protectors.....I wonder if I would prefer the clear ones better? The colors are transparent but kind of dark. I guess the colors are better for staying organized. They really should be called sheet protectors rather than folders, although they will hold 15-20 sheets. They are not really stiff enough to be a folder but they are made of a durable plastic. Some reviewers said they were flimsy and I do not agree. They are fairly thick. 5Too FlimsyI LOVE project folders. I don't know how others function without these. I like the clear ones to keep working papers of open projects in. I also like the color-coded Pendalfex Poly Index Folders (color along one side, although you can get colored folders that I use sometimes. I use these to keep my kids' stuff organized. Each kid gets a color. I use Red for my important projects and yellow for open projects that I'm awaiting action on. These clear ones are more flimsy that many others that I've used. I would not purchase them again. I'm going to try the Pendaflex ones that some else recommended. They also recommended the Office Depot brand as more sturdy. 3
