Customer Reviews

Leaves a bunch of fiber residueWe bought some of these for our epoxy project and even after carefully removing excess fibers from the roller sleeve, it still ruined the epoxy. We re doing pure white, so we anticipated some trouble, but this was just excessive. I m actually pretty mad that this is an acceptable epoxy applicator. It took us 3 additional coats to hide that ugly mistake. Time and money down the drain. Notched applicator is definitely the way to go.1Worked fine. Not sure why it is that expensive. Not sure why epoxy roller cover has to be this expensive. But, works fine.I used it with 1-part acrylic epoxy (two different brands). I also bought regular roller covers of similar nap size, they worked just as well. Next time, I would just buy regular roller covers.May be it makes a difference for 2 party epoxy? I do not know.4This worked perfect!Buy this! if youre doing a concrete surface. I bought one from the store that was a different texture because it was next to the epoxy, and because it was the same brand.(which did not work, and I wasted Half my kit)But you want a roller, that resembles a normal paint roller. This worked perfect!Order 2-3Doing 3/4ths of the floor the roller needed to be switched as it started gliding and not rolling5Much better than what comes in the kitsThese work so much better than the foam rollers that come in the kits. They hold more and minor divits in the concrete fill in much better with these as compared to the foam. One roller goes a LONG ways. I used one to apply two 2.5 garage kits over a 3 hour period.5Gotta have it before coating your garage floor! There's not a whole lot to say about the Wooster Epoxy Roller. You will need this if you're applying Epoxy to your floor if you don't want "fuzzies" while your rolling. The roller is very durable and I was able to do an entire 3 car garage with one roller. They may be a little expensive compared to regular roller pads but it's a necessary piece of the install.5Don t use this for Rust Oleum epoxy. The rust oleum garage floor epoxy kit requires 1/2 nap. This is only 1/4 . It makes a very thin coat that must be coated with a second layer. Start off with the correct one and stay away from this.2All Glassed Up The product is great and does what it is said to do. Note when you get done don't set the roller on anything that you don't want it stuck to forever. I started an art project where I stick all my cups brushes and rollers. I've turned down $5.00 for it. It will be worth more when I die.Good shipping and service. Thank You 5Not good with West on smooth surfacesThe nap on this roller is very thick, and traps a lot of resin. It creates a very stippled surface with lots of bubbles. If you don t have a slow dry epoxy, many bubbles will set in...even with tipping. Maybe best suited for uneven surfaces where one is not concerned as much with final finish.2Do not be alarmed of the initial rollingAs I initially rolled across my counter tops, I got really nervous that the roller pad was going to actually undue the work I wanted to put into a smooth top. Luckily, I am just a victim of OCD and everything worked out just fine in the end. I will need about 20 more to finish my basement, but that will require me saving the money for the epoxy kits, pigments, and rollers, but when the time comes, the pads will be of great value to the project.4It rolls, it paints, it cooks! Oh wait...Not much to say, does what it says and does it well. Not sure if there is a real difference between using this roller and a regular cheap paining one because I didn t try it. But!!!Laying down the apoxy with this roller was a walk in the park. And it was cheap insurance on my part to make sure my new floor looked as good as it could.5waste of time and money!Followed the directions to the nth nth degree. Including scraping the old epoxy paint off a cement floor BY HAND (3-2 weeks) used an acid etch wash using a metal brush & H2O rinse. Letfloor dry for 4 days b4 applying 1 coat of Zilz epoxy for cement floors. Then waited 2 weeks, to cure b4 2nd coat. Then applied second coat & let that dry for a week & 1/2. That was all done b4 painting walls because the instructions were very specific in it's application and cure time. Onc edried the Kilz floor was covered by tarp and taped with painters tape. I then painted the walls with Watertight by Rust-oleum an oil based mold & mildew resistant paint. Let the paint dry enough to remove the tape...the Kilz floor paint peeled off when I removed the tape LOL!!!! Couldn't make this stuff up, wish I had instead of all the work for naught!1
