So far so goodEven after reading the 1 star reviews I bought 3 of these bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The bag is made from 100% polyester. The drawstring is made from nylon rope and has a squeeze stop to keep the string tight and bag close (see pic). The stitching that in-cases the drawstring and the seams of the bag appear to be sewn very well. The bag does hold 2 loads and I was able to fit 1 load plus a queen size comforter plus additional clothing. With 2 full loads in the bag I was able to lift the bag up by the top/neck and that did not appear to compromise the integrity of the bag structure. I paid $7 per bag plus free shipping with prime so for me they were/are worth the price. I will update this post in the future if and when the bags begin to fall apart.

5not a fan of this bagmost people will love it i'm sure. great quality and heavy duty, yes. but we've had nylon bags before that were nice and soft and quiet and this thing makes so much noise every time we touch it or open it or use it. it's highly annoying. can't imagine packing it up in a hotel room when someone else is trying to sleep. will it improve over time? doubt it. possibly. we'll see. unless we just give it to goodwill and buy a new (softer quieter one)
1Very SatisfiedThis was the second bag I purchased from this company - I was very happy with the large size, and the quality of the bags. I've stuffed them with laundry weighing over 35 pounds each without any problems (teenagers generate a lot of dirty clothes!) :-)I've had no problem with the drawstrings, and the toggle works fine. My only advice, if you decide to throw this bag into the laundry with the dirty clothes, is *not* to use the dryer. I've had other bags where the toggle melted in the high heat. No problems, though, since the bag really dries very quickly on its own.
5Drawstring & Closure Quickly Fall Apart - TWICE!!!Bought this same bag twice, disappointed with the drawstring/barrel closure (which I specifically bought the bag for, so this feature was VERY important to me - I close the drawstring prior to washing (and I wash each week, when I do laundry, since I store dirty clothes inside and then just carry whole thing to laundry room on wash day) to prevent clothes from getting "stuck" inside and remaining wet in dryer, or traveling inside there during drying - happens almost every time!! Anyway - 1st bag the plastic barrel enclosure broke within I'd say maybe 2 months of use, 2nd bag the entire drawstring broke and came out the very FIRST time I went to wash it!!!First time this happened I "sucked it up" and bought anther bag. 2nd time I complained to seller - Amazon did process a refund for the bag immediately, which was very nice and expedient. However - I am STILL left with 2 "pretty useless to me" bags (although the bags themselves do seem of fairly okay quality) without the feature I bought them for in the first place! They should stop selling this bag if this commonly happens - which - if it happened to me twice, I would call that "common", no?
2Watch out for substitutionsI purchased one Trademark bag as an experiment after reading reviews. The bag was strong and a perfect size for a large load of laundry. I separate my laundry into two categories. These bags hold everything that fits into a large commercial load washer. I decided to order two more while they were available. This second order came from a different source through Amazon. It was not the same product even though they claimed it was. The second order happened to have a similar description but it was not packaged the same and was a generic (not Trademark brand) proximity of the original. It is a different material that also smells. It did not even come in a package. I opened the shipping envelope and the duffel bags were unpackaged and merely folded. The original item came in a sealed plastic packaging. It also compacted into a smaller bundle being made of a finer weave material. Among many things I do not like these bags are stiff, smelly, bulky and noisy. The Trademark bags are nice however the generic substitute bags are like coated canvas instead of something you might like to wear as a jacket. The original (Trademark) felt elegant in comparison.I am disgusted with the random substitution Amazon does with many products. Sometimes you are lucky other times you get the short end of the stick. They should avoid this roulette game and give you what you ask for. It is inconvenient and costs us time and money to resolve.EDIT: I attempted to reorder additional bags a 2nd time. This time from the original source. However, once again the product was substituted with something else. This time the thread was white instead of black (on a black bag), the stitching was different, the drawstring was a different material (elastic) and white instead of black, the drawstring clip was a different design. Overall this product was weaker in fabric and construction, the packaging was different although there was a barcode with the name Trademark on it, the number on the barcode did not match any number on the original item, and the packaging did not match that of the original item received in the first order.
3I took a risk, and I'm happy I did. I looked on amazon for cheap laundry bags, and this product didn't have any reviews, so I was worried on whether I should buy it or not.Pros:It does fit two loads of laundry. I was so surprised that it fit all my bed covers. I have 6.It is sturdy enough to carry 2 loads. I was afraid it wasn't.Cons:I don't like the material. It's not soft. It reminds me of the material of jackets that make that noise when you zip the zipper up and down. Sorry, I know that's not a good description.Overally, who cares about the material?! It does what it says! It does carry 2 loads of laundry and it's sturdy, and that's all I want for all that damn laundry I have to do!UPDATE Feb 2011: I've had my black laundry bags for 6 months now, and they are still sturdy. No rips, no problems. I'm still impressed and satisfied with them. If your bags rip, you're probably not taking care of them. Of course, they'll rip if you keep dragging them across the ground. If they rip too easily too soon, then you got a bad laundry bag, that's all. At least that's what I think because honestly, these 2 bags still look like new and I do a lot of laundry.
5I have legacy bags from my childhood that are still in great shape, so not as good as those to ...So far, holding up well.I have legacy bags from my childhood that are still in great shape, so not as good as those to be sure, but ten times better than the crap you get off the shelf at Walmart or the Dollar Store. They make pressed paper cloth and rips and is useless. And the canvass is a joke. I have old cotton canvas bags that are soft and decades old, I use them for clean clothing only, I have three colors, one for each kid, and my clothing is yet another color. The colors are for dirty only. I sort downstairs at the laundry station. But as for the bags, they are sinching well and not ripping from overstuffing. So far, so good.
4GreatWorked to move my clothes from Tampa to Iowa and didn t break or rip!
5A GREAT laundry bag! Perfect to use on vacations!I bought this to use as our family laundry bag for when we take vacations. I hate the idea of putting dirty clothes back into a clean suitcase, so an easily packed laundry bag is a must! This laundry bag was perfect for our last trip. Two adults spending 4 nights away, and we didn't even completely fill the bag. So far it seems durable, too. It went well through the wash (though the cord shrank some). I would absolutely recommend this to my friends and buy again if I needed a second laundry bag.
