Smaller than expectedThis rug is a bit smaller than the 34' x 21" that is advertised. I measured it as soon as I unpacked it because it looked small. It is apx. 31" x 18.5". I think it looks so small in my bathroom because I previously had 2 rugs in there. Should have ordered the larger one. No bargain at a price of just over $20 based on small size. That being said it is serving me well as a bath mat. My son tends to drip water all over the rug directly outside the tub when he gets out of the shower and this rug has proven to be quite absorbent. I've only had it a week and half so not sure yet how it will hold up in the long run. The previous rugs had to go when they began shedding constantly and the fibers were being tracked into the hallway.3Waste of MoneyFirst, it slides around on my tile floor, which, with a rubber backing, it shouldn't. Second, it shed like crazy in the wash. Third, it looked like crap after one wash. Had to trim off long threads from washing. Can't imagine what it will look like after multiple washings. Bought a different mat to use and will just trash this one when it needs washing again. Total waste of money. I seldom give just one star, and this one didn't even deserve that.1I love it! It is one of the nicest, softest bath rugs I have ever owned! The color is true to the picture. It's neutral and goes well with my bathroom decor. It measures 34" x 21" which seems to be a perfect size for most bath rooms. I was so surprised by how nice this is! It has a non-skid, no-slip backing and is machine washable for easy care. I have not washed it yet but it looks pretty sturdy. It's made of 100% microfiber polyester which is probably why it is so so soft! I love it! Buy it!5Buyer BEWAREIt looks great! It feels great! It seems like the ultimate spa rug...Be extra careful about putting it in the dryer. Don't use any great at all! If you do and the backing starts to peel, the scenario gets real ugly. Once the backing begins to peel, even wading it in cold water may clog up your washer, as the peelng back material won't stop falling off. From that point on, washing this rug -- even in cold water -- is a horrible experience. The backing is so poorly made, whatever plastic or rubber material they use SHREDS OFF and the little pieces eventually clog up your washing machine.If you do end up wanting to purchase this, NEVER dry it except maybe on lowest rate temp possible. I would just hang it and wait a few days for it to dry.2superior bath rug, water thirsty, soft under foot, air dries very quicklyThese microfiber rugs are excellent. If you need a bath rug that truly absorbs a remarkable amount of liquid while protecting the surface it sits on, this rug is for you. We live in a log home that was built with wood floors throughout the house including the bathroom. Even if the shower door didn't drip at all, the water dripping off of a family of 3 taking a shower every day would have ruined our wood floor, subfloor, etc.The microfiber rug comes out of the washer spin cycle barely damp and air dries within minutes. There really is no need to put it in the dryer ESPECIALLY on high heat.It feels fantastic to step/walk on....soft and comfy.5Slips when wet
If water gets underneath it doesn't stick to the floor, when you go to get out of the tub it slips out from under your feet. I have tile in the bathroom and two boys, not good for our family.
1NOT the same product as previous orderI purchased one in 2016 in water color. I loved it so much I just purchased 2 navy. It is NOT the same rug. The rugs I received today are poor quality. They look and feel cheap! I'm very disappointed!Update. I had them on the floor for 2 days and they started to unravel and pull apart. Walmart has better quality rugs.I sent them back!1Such a shame, lovely but shoddily made.It's a beautiful color and a velvety feel under foot.But, it washes terrible. The very 1st washing it unraveled along the edge and had long loose yarn strings here and there in the center.I hoped I just got a bad one and exchanged it. No such luck, the replacement rug did the same thing the 1st washing and this time I took extra care and washed it on delicate cycle and air dried it.... Just as unraveled and unsightly loose yarn as before.Very poorly fabricated, don't waste your money.1If you can get it on a deal, go for it.This is not a bad rug, but it's not particularly impressive either. On the plus side it is very soft underfoot - like walking on cotton balls. It also absorbs a decent amount of water, dries quickly, and the non-slip backing is effective.On the down side, it's very thin. While soft, there's very little cushion to the pile. The threads are pretty easy to pull out, so you have to be careful when vacuuming it to avoid snags and pulls. That's a problem since it attracts dirt and needs to be cleaned regularly.The care instructions recommend washing in cold water separately, and line drying. I got the white version, and it's a very, very bright white. That's both good and bad - looks great when it's clean, but it picks up noticeable dirt very quickly.If you can get it on a deal, go for it. At full price which I paid, I can't really recommend it.3Overall disappointedI ordered this rug for our guest bathroom. I'm kind of disappointed in it. It is a nice quality, I have washed it many times and it hasn't fallen apart. It's a nice size and doesn't slide around on my bathroom floor.It looks like it should be soft, but unfortunately that's not the case. It's not uncomfortable to stand on, but it is not as soft as what I was expecting. When you call something a "spa rug", most people assume it's going to have a luxurious feel. The color is also duller than it appears in the picture. It looks kind of dingy and gets dirty very easily. The rug fibers also get matted down almost immediately so it seems that no matter how often I wash it, it never looks clean and overall it's thinner than I thought it would be.I am keeping the rug, but probably wouldn't buy it again. If it were the color it appears to be online, were softer, and didn't look so dingy so fast, I would have been much happier.3Perfect for the PriceI was a little skeptical purchasing this product at first because reviews suggested that the rug comes apart after a little awhile. But, firstly, it's important to note the color is a little different than pictured. I bought the gray bathroom rug, and it's actually more of a light gray/ almost has a very light blue tint to it. I thought that actually made it look a lot nicer. It's very soft and so far is holding up well after a month. It also hides dirt from people's feet as they are entering the bath tub which is something we needed, because our floors are difficult to keep clean. It's also very big-- so overall I thought this was a great product.5
