After 30 days you'll pretty much be throwing your money away. Well made. At least as nice or even a little nicer than the boxed sets at Walmart. Much better than anything you would get at a dollar store. If your house is a vortex where socks, silverware, and the occasional phone cord vanish into thin air, this is a perfect inexpensive set of flatware for you.
5Good for short term use and does rust for me!I was buying silverware piece by piece as a college student so after graduating and becoming a real adult, I figured it was time I bought a whole set. I m a simple person and didn t want anything too flashy so went with the square block design.Upon initial use, everything was great. Seemed strong and sturdy as utensils and no rust or anything. However, the handles, I ve come to realize, are very square at the end that if you hold the utensil near the end and put any small amount of force on it, they really dig into your skin and hurt quite a lot.After some time of use, I did notice some rusting starting to happen. All the reviews mentioning rust are true. Yes, this is a relatively cheap set of silverware but if you want a decent set that you won t be throwing out anytime soon and that won t hurt the palms of your hands when you re really trying to dig into some ice cream, I d suggest getting something else. If, however, you are the person to lose silverware fairly easy or you don t really care about the hand thing and just want a cheap pair that ll last a few months, this might just do the trick. Arabesque Frost is a beautiful design & seemed like a bargain. Most manufacturers improve their quality via negative reviews but all the reviews about RUST are ABSOLUTELY TRUE. I use the leading name brand dishwasher detergent & some pieces (spoon edges, serrated areas on knives & even the decorative impressions). I only write negative reviews (I write a lot of positive ones too) hoping that companies will improve their quality. I had hoped that they had already made improvements but obviously have not. I've had them for a few months now. They are oversized, which took some getting used to, but they are nice quality, heavier than normal utensils, and no rust - contrary to other reviews I read before I bought two sets.
5Skip Them. A Disappointment.We loved the design of this silverware,so we ordered two sets to have spares. When they arrived, we immediately noticed that the thickness of this silverware is lesser than the set we previously owned, but we loved the design so much that we decided to keep them anyway. A few weeks into using these, however, we are utterly disappointed. The handles are rather short and the tips are so square that when you hold the fork or the spoon, they poke and dig into the palm of your hand. I would give them 1 star, we feel so let down, but we love the design, so we can't say that we hate them. VERDICT: You may want to pass on these. Spend a little more and buy something of better quality, especially if you like eating at home or entertaining family and friends.2Rust ....I've has these less than 6 months and I'm already seeing rusting . These are cheap but they should last a bit longer than this .
