Customer Reviews
Wish I had bought the 16 for 2nd graderThese are great but I wish I would have bought the larger size.My 2nd grader is wiggle worm ADHD and normal sized kid.Purchased the 14 and regret not getting the 16 .This is the best price I have found.Purchased gray based on our previous teachers request that the chair not be a distraction or object of envy to other classmates. My sons prior teacher had one for each student and the kids loved them.I wish all teachers used them.4but our pre-schoolers love this seatWe accidentally ordered the wrong size, but our pre-schoolers love this seat. The larger version is a favorite in our classroom, and I wish we could have more of them, so the students would not have to take turns, using the three we have. Especially students that have a hard time sitting still for more than five minutes are very happy, and able to focus on the lesson, rather than spending their energy on trying to sit still in a chair.5Wobble chair is great for our wiggly child! We have a child who can't sit still during homework so I bought this in hopes that it would help. So far, so good! We've only had it for a few weeks but he can keep his lower body busy wobbling around while he holds his upper body still enough to complete his work. Since it's a stool it also helps him keep his back straight. What a fun way to get proper posture! The chair was recommended by his teacher so we tried it and we're glad we did! We might get our other kids these chairs if it turns out that they wiggle during homework as well.We bought the 18inch chair for our average height 8 year old. I know the chair was mean for teens but we do homework at our kitchen table and needed something that would work with the height of the table. He has no trouble sitting in it and his feet touch the ground while sitting. He does more of a perch on the side than sitting in the middle and this perching doesn't cause the chair to tip over. That's the idea of this great chair! He can wiggle around or sit on it's edge and it's still stable. No scuffs to our hardwood floors either. Great product!5Wobble chair works for squirming students!I read somewhere that active children learn best if they are not required to sit still. I bought this for my highly energized 11 year old granddaughter for home schooling. She switches between the wobble chair, a balance ball, and a standard chair throughout the day. She is a high achiever and being able to keep moving helps her focus. When the chair arrived she took it out of the box and assembled it herself. No tools required.5Wiggle While You Read!I have wanted to purchase Wobble Chairs for a long time. A colleague and myself realized this would be the perfect addition to our classrooms of first graders. It's been shown that in performing well while reading and doing math, that students that move are able to attend to the learning better. The four chairs I purchased move easily and are very comfortable. The chairs are well constructed and will last many years. The items arrived on time as promised and I look forward to having my students enjoy them as they learn!Kore Patented WOBBLE Chair, Made in the USA, Active Sitting for Toddler, Pre-School, Kids, and Teens; Kids don't have to sit still anymore - "The BEST seat in any Classroom"! - Blue - Kids (14in)5Really happy with this purchaseThis has worked out so well in my son's classroom (7 years old, 2nd grade) that his teacher has bought 2 for the class! Really happy with this purchase, as I was so worried about my wiggly boy with ADHD and now he can function and focus so much better. Note: I bought 14" for his 'standard' desk at school. He is on the tall side and if I had it to do over, I would have ordered the 18". The desk hits him mid-chest when he is sitting.5Excellent product, awesome design! An extremely well made product and super easy to assemble (and disassemble), I was really impressed with the product. As is the case with many types of therapeutic tools, they are not for everyone. My 10 year old son with Autism is a squirmy little guy, always moving around in his chair, tipping his chair back, etc. However, I was disappointed that this chair was not a solution for him and we had to return it. Nice was the return was hassle-free.5This chair is awesome! He was able to pick his favorite color ...This chair is awesome! He was able to pick his favorite color and the school said they would allow him to have it. Since having it he has received all smiles all day in kindergarten. This chair provides perfect feedback for our little who has SPD ASD ADHD.. Thank you.5Great for speech therapy roomI ordered 2 of these for my speech therapy room in a public school. I serve a variety of children, and having a variety of seating options is fantastic. The kids can wiggle at the table and still focus on our activities and therapy. The first couple of days drove me crazy, but setting the ground rules, the kids now know what the expectations are when on the stools: "you can wiggle, you can wobble, but you don't spin around!" :)5Good Concept - VERY Poor DesignI do not know exactly why these stools got such amazing reviews. I bought them with a grant for my middle school classroom, which I turned into a flexible seating haven. We have all sorts of seating options to meet the many needs of the individual students. I received this brand, and another popular one as well. Within three months, these Kore stools came apart at the base. So, when you receive it, there are three parts. The top, the bottom, and then the middle bar that holds them together. You put them together through tension and bruit force. No tools. Nothing. The other stools already come from the factory assembled. The students never abused them, and I bought the appropriate size for their age. They just come apart. It is very easy to pop them back into place, but I don't think that is the intention of the manufacturer. So, we cleaned the stools really well, brought them down to the tech ed room, and sealed them up with some type of liquid glue/cement . . . something the shop teacher had. They were good after that. At $100 a stool, I definitely didn't expect them to come apart after only a few months of wear. I have since recommended the other brand to co-workers as a better investment in stools that will actually hold up and not need adjustments over time.3
