- TIPS FOR BRANDING LEATHER AND WOOD: 1) Can be used on Oil Tanned Leather or Vegetable Tanned Leather. 2) For wood branding, spritz the area with water before pressing the letter iron on the surface. As moisture makes it harder for the wood to burn, only the surface in contact with the branding head will burn, hence giving you a cleaner imprint.
- SO EASY TO HEAT UP YOUR BRANDING IRON: You may heat your letter branding irons with a gas cooktop, propane grill/torch or even over a campfire. These branding heads will need to be heated for 10 minutes for the best imprint results. Always wear heat-resistant gloves as your branding iron will get very hot.
